Berkshires Wedding at the Mount in Lenox, MA

There is something incredibly special about Weddings at the Mount in Lennox, MA. The Berkshires is the last place you might expect immaculate Italian and French gardens, but Edith Wharton’s home, also known as The Mount, has got them. And it was the absolute perfect venue to host Emma & Chris’ lovely late summer wedding. We started the day with some getting ready photos of Emma in her bridal suite room before heading out for a first look with Chris. Portraits at The Mount are every photographers dream, as there truly is not a bad spot for photos. Emma & Chris made it easy too. My favorite parts of the wedding day included the ceremony, especially how emotional the guests were. You could really tell there was a lot of love and support for these two. I also loved the floral touches of the ceremony arch and the reception florals all done by the incredible Ailish Floral . Another favorite moment was the cocktail hour. I absolutely loved the way guests were invited to join in the gardens for their food and drink. It was truly perfect. The night ended with food, drink and dancing on the patio under the stars. The Mount just might be my favorite venue to photograph. Photographed on digital & film.
