8 Best Hudson Valley Wedding Venues

The secret’s been out for a bit now that Hudson Valley weddings are a great option for so many couples. These venues span the Hudson Valley and adjacent areas and will be great for couples looking for more experience rich, guest centric, unique venues.

8. The Roundhouse

City/Town: Beacon, NY

Rooms + Capacity: Up to 200 guests with on-site boutique hotel lodging available

Style: Modern Industrial Chic

The Roundhouse is in the heart of the bustling city of Beacon and offers a beautiful waterfall view. There is a separate beautiful cocktail hour space as well as a unique opportunity to make the space completely unique through specialized lighting installations through LNJ Weddings. It’s a great option for a NYC vibe without having to be in the city. Beacon also offers a lot for guests traveling in to make it a fun destination including yummy restaurants, coffee shops, and a variety of small businesses.

7. Wainwright House

City/Town: Rye, NY

Rooms & Capacity: Tented capacity allows for up to 300 guests for cocktails, 240 seated guests. 

Style: Historic, Waterfront, Elegant

Wainwright House is a perfect venue for an Elegant Hudson Valley wedding. Guests can enjoy an outside cocktail hour and a beautiful tented wedding just steps from the water. The relaxed yet stunning setting is a unique setting for guests.

6. Lion Rock Farm

City/Town: Sharon, CT

Rooms + Capacity: Up to 200 guests with 4 guest houses that accommodate up to 28 people

Style: Garden, Classic, Elegant Barn

Lion Rock Farm is not technically a Hudson Valley venue, but it is Hudson Valley adjacent. It offers a permanent tent that is extremely elegant as well as a plethora of spaces for photos. It is a picturesque backdrop for a wedding and has several ceremony options as well. It’s a great fit for those wanting classic garden elegant vibes for their wedding.

5. Glynwood

City/Town: Phillipstown, NY

Rooms + Capacity: Up to 250 guests. 19 overnight rooms for guests. Boathouse rehearsal dinner space.

Style: Sustainable, Organic, Historic

Glynwood is truly an experiential Husdon Valley wedding venue for guests. It is not far from NYC but guests will feel so immersed in the natural surroundings. Active farmland, ancient apple orchards, a lake and boathouse–this place has it all.

4. Wildflower Farms

City/Town: Gardiner, NY

Rooms + Capacity: 110 Guest Capacity for indoor spaces. 65 free standing cabins, cottages & suites. You can rent The Green Room for intimate rehearsal dinners of up to 20 guests.

Style: Luxurious, Natural, Retreat

There is no Hudson Valley venue quite like Wildflower Farms. One of the newest additions to the Auberge Resorts, it’s not surprise that attention to detail and impeccable guest experience are the standard here. The grounds and cabins have incredible cozy luxury woven into every corner. There is something for everyone here and it will truly be an incredible experience for your guests.

3. The Mount

City/Town: Lenox, MA

Rooms + Capacity: Up to 250 guests on the tent site

Style: European, Garden, Historic

One of my absolute favorite venues–and maybe not exactly considered part of the Hudson Valley, but more Hudson Valley adjacent–the Mount is truly a unique, jaw droppingly beautiful place to get married. Everywhere your guests turn, they will be amazed by the manicured grounds and gardens.

2. Blue Hill at Stone Barns

City/Town: Pocantico Hills, NY

Rooms + Capacity: Up to 260 guests.

Style: Farm-to-table, Elegant, Garden

With food being at the forefront, Blue Hill is a perfect Hudson Valley wedding venue for foodies and romantics alike. It offers stunning backdrops, sprawling working farmland, and food that is *almost* too pretty to eat.

1. Cedar Lakes Estate

City/Town: Port Jervis, NY

Rooms + Capacity: Up to 315 guests. On site upscale cabin lodging

Style: Mountain + Lakeview, Adventurous, Upscale

Think adult camp for kids and a weekend full of fun. Guests will be immersed in the CLE property and its seemingly never ending options for entertainment. There is impeccable attention to detail here and it is a stunning backdrop everywhere you turn. It’s one of the most beloved Hudson Valley wedding venues for a reason!
