Nestled in the Catskills is a venue that was the perfect setting for this romantic Sablewood wedding for Michelle & Bill. The weather for their wedding day was absolute perfection and mother nature crafted a perfect day for them! This wedding day was so so special. There were so many thoughtful details perfectly executed by both Michelle’s vision and Kelly of The Main Event by Kelly A personal highlight of the day for me was watching Michelle surprise Bill with his favorite animal, the Clydesdale horses. Their horse drawn carriage was how Michelle made her grand ceremony entrance with her father, and it was such a special moment to witness. None of the guests knew about the horses until they were coming down the path, and they were all so surprised too. We were all in on this secret and had to be so careful not to spoil it for Bill! It was such a special moment and not something you get to see at every wedding. Another favorite part about their wedding was the attention to detail. Every little element of their day was perfectly curated and executed beautifully to be truly authentic to them as a couple. I loved the olive oil favors and mobile bar, and even their unplugged ceremony sign was stunning. Nothing topped the flower drenched arch that served as a backdrop for their ceremony, though. They even got to repurpose to arch for their reception on a fun couch vignette for guests to have a photo op. There aren’t many venues that could accommodate this level of beauty and the incredible Clydesdale surprise, which is just another fantastic benefit of The Sablewood and it’s sprawling property. I would happily shoot this wedding over and over again if it meant getting to spend the day with Michelle & Bill!
