Hudson Valley Garden Wedding

Anna & Brian tied the knot on a beautiful sunny day in May. We decided to do portraits at Stonecrop Gardens and then head to the Villa Borghese for their ceremony and reception. Anna is originally from Norway and had guests attending from Spain, Italy, and more. The details and thought that went into them were seriously impressive. She even included VOSS water (from Norway) in her welcome box for guests! These two are so in love that my camera had an easy time catching gorgeous candids of them during their first dance and ceremony. Several times I would look across the room and see them making eye contact as if no one else was in the room. I am so grateful to have been part of this gorgeous day!
The in-between, storytelling images that give the big picture of your wedding day are so important to me in my mission to create images that appreciate with time. I love getting to know my couples and their intricate relationships as well as writing my highlights from their unique day to supplement their photos. Here are some of the weddings I've been lucky enough to document as well as some words about what made their day so memorable for me.
