Like so many couples this year, Elizabeth and Connor found themselves making really tough decisions about how to get married, keep everyone safe, and still be able to have the wedding of their dreams. With lots of help from the wonderful planner, Corinne of Canvas Weddings, they decided to still have an intimate ceremony with friends and family, but to postpone their large celebration at Gather Greene until next year. The intimate wedding they held this year was held at the beautiful and perfect-for-intimate-weddings venue nestled in the Catskills, Foxfire Mountain House. The laid-back nature of the day was incredibly beautiful and allowed for Elizabeth & Connor to take in every moment and really savor these moments they were sharing with their closest circle. Oh, and did I mention their planner, Corinne, officiated the ceremony? (AND it was her first time, which you would never ever know! It was so perfect and personalized!). It was truly a boiled-down version of a wedding in the absolute best way and I enjoyed being able to capture this special day for them!
The in-between, storytelling images that give the big picture of your wedding day are so important to me in my mission to create images that appreciate with time. I love getting to know my couples and their intricate relationships as well as writing my highlights from their unique day to supplement their photos. Here are some of the weddings I've been lucky enough to document as well as some words about what made their day so memorable for me.
