Coral and Matthew both live in Oregon, but are natives to California. When they got engaged, they knew having a wedding back home would allow them to be surrounded by friends and family as they committed to each other. Coral had also always loved the idea of eloping in the Pacific Northwest, where she and Matt now live together, so as a compromise, they decided to do both! Coral and Matthew dressed up and in the cold coastal spring air at Ecola State Park and let me photograph them in all their elopement joy. We may have all gotten a little dirty in the sand, but I think it’s safe to say it was 100% worth it! I can’t wait to hopefully return to Ecola sometime very soon because I miss these views!
The in-between, storytelling images that give the big picture of your wedding day are so important to me in my mission to create images that appreciate with time. I love getting to know my couples and their intricate relationships as well as writing my highlights from their unique day to supplement their photos. Here are some of the weddings I've been lucky enough to document as well as some words about what made their day so memorable for me.
