From the first conversation with Kingsley and Steve, I knew they were my type of humans. Kingsley’s bubbly personality and energy was contagious, and when they described wanting a beautiful, intimate ceremony in Central Park followed by an intimate dinner reception, I was excited. I love all types of weddings, both big and small, but mostly I love when couples choose to get married exactly the way they want. New York has a special place in Kingsley & Steve’s life, so it was the perfect way for them to tie the knot! Highlights of the day include Steve buying a hot dog during portraits from a street vendor (and then he and Kingsley sharing it) and the incredible macaron tower instead of traditional wedding cake (YUM!) Also, shout out to cabbie who let us get our NYC cab shot despite not actually taking a cab anywhere!

The in-between, storytelling images that give the big picture of your wedding day are so important to me in my mission to create images that appreciate with time. I love getting to know my couples and their intricate relationships as well as writing my highlights from their unique day to supplement their photos. Here are some of the weddings I've been lucky enough to document as well as some words about what made their day so memorable for me.
